A Million Memories

November kits are arriving or havce arrived so I wanted to take a moment to show you how I created the paper lace as seen in this layout.



Materials:
border paper punch
patterned paper/cardstock
paper trimmer

Step 1: 
Punch all the way up and down one edge of your paper beginning in the middle of the paper and working to the left and the right as instructed on the paper punch's instructions.  Be sure to line punched spaces up with the tempate shown on your paper punch.



Step 2:
Once punched, trim the border off at approximately, 1 1/2 inches wide.  You may of course trim your paper wider or thinnner but be careful not to go too thin because you still need to punch into the other side.

Step 3: 
Realign the punched side of the strip with the guides on the paper punch and using your fingers, lightly crease the paper strip at the edge of the punch as shown here at the pencil point.



Step 4: 
Now turn your paper strip around to punch the other side.  You will want to line up your littel crease at the opposite edge of the paper punch.  This will center your punched design so that the punched sides mirror one another.
