Thought it might be fun to chat scrap spaces while we're all in a scrappin' frame of mind.

Use this thread to share pictures, favorite links, ideas etc for all things scrapping space related. I am in the mood to purge through supplies and reorganize some parts of my room so any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Hmmm....you are much more organized than I am, Rachel - I think you should be the one with the tips - lol.

Here is one that I have used the most - I organized all of my embellishments by color and now I can find things much easier. The tiny ones are organized by color in a little drawer stack - makes it easy when you are looking for the perfect little touch.

i have an expedit with drawers and boxes. everything is in there. sorted by color

That's insane!! I just sent the link to my hubby and asked him if he could put something together like that for me.

I don't have too many organizing tips. My scrap "room" (and I use that term loosely) is so small that I don't have much space to organize anything. Everything is sort of crammed into drawers, shelves, bins, etc.

I did that with my embellishments too and now I actually use them! best thing ever!

When the LSS was owned by one of my best friends and I worked for her, We did trade. Class fees, hours etc for product. and my product discount was very, very good!

Hey guys, all I can say is IKEA. They are fantastic for storage and relatively cost effective too.

I'm lucky enough to have my own space (which is in serious need of a clean up, lol) - and just last week we had a guy come over to do a quote for some drawers/desks etc....still waiting on a price.....!

I actually think my scrapping style is reflected in my room, completely unorganized, mis-matched, with Sassafras EVERYWHERE!!!

My best scrapping storage is definitely the metal boxes I got from ikea, they're the perfect size for Thickers - so yep, go IKEA

I used Lori Gentile's wonderful way of organizing by color (mine isn't as well organized as her's!!). I have three Expedit units which I love, a desk from Target, and some other units that I realize I didn't post pictures of on my blog (but they are on Facebook). My room is currently a huge mess but after the weekend crop, I think I'll spend next weekend getting this place back in shape!

And I've seen that little scrap house before and love it!!

Nice spaces, girls! And Chris, I love all the green! I've been wanting to organize by color... so far I've gotten my buttons and ribbons organized by colors. I'll try and take a few pix soon. I started cleaning the room 2 nights ago.

Hi ladies!

I'm just jumping in to play. Can't wait to get to the challenges. I don't have enough time to play on the mb's much, but I try to get into a crop every now and then online.

Scrap spaces are my favorite topic.
For years all I had was a little scrap armoire. Actually it was pretty great. I got so much work done in that baby. But I desperately wished for a room of my own and finally it came to be. My big recommendation, Freecycle and Goodwill. I got so many items from both sources for my room, that is was so much easier expense wise.
